If you haven’t stopped by Cesar Chavez in a while this is what it looks like. Supposedly the SFBC was able to coerce city hall into planning for making the sidewalks wider, dropping down a bike lane, and putting up little islands with trees on them. However, as amazing as that all sounds, I’d take Cinderella esque chirping birds over waking up to the sound of bulldozers grinding against pavement at 6am every morning in a heartbeat.
